Resort/City Information - BELDIBI | | Set on a prime slice of Turkey’’s Mediterranean coastline, Beldibi’s all geared up for a beachside break. Although rocky shores are the mainstay, this little resort town has a sand-and-shingle stretch. And beyond that, there’’s just the deep blue Mediterranean.
As for what else you’’ll find here, there are a handful of bars and restaurants serving up net-fresh seafood and traditional Turkish dishes. And because this place is so compact, everything’’s just a short stroll away – so you can be soaking up the sun one minute, and a sweet Turkish coffee the next.
When you want to head out further, Kemer is a 20-minute drive south. This modern resort town is carved into a rocky coast, with sandier shores at the yacht marina. From here, boats run over to the ancient ruins of Phaselis, or there are plenty of dolmuses heading that way.
When you want to swap seaside for cityscape, make for Antalya. All pretty, palm-lined boulevards and swanky shops, it’’s the chief city on this stretch of coast – and well worth the 45-minute drive north.
A2Btransfers offers low cost transfers in Beldibi and surrounds.
